Brad and I were trying to think of something fun, cheap and new to do with the kids a couple weekends ago and my mom had a good idea – take a ferry ride into Seattle.
I remember doing that with my dad a long time ago and thought it was so much fun and a new way to see downtown Seattle.
Plus it was only $13 for the entire family and our truck. We boarded the ferry from Bremerton for a 60 minute boat ride.
Not the nicest of days – it was a bit rainy and cold but we made the most of it.
Can you see Seattle in the distance….?
It was cold but we had to get a family picture – quickly.
Our next plan is to go on that big ferris wheel. It was too cold to wait in line.
And of course we had to stop at the Pike Place Market. Although Sophie didn’t like the smell of the market (all the fish booths) both kids enjoyed the fresh mini donuts.
Onto our next stop… where will it be?
